I’ve Got The 1953 Norman Rockwell Blues Again, Mama!

That’s my Dad, me, my Mom, and brother Lenny in what to me looks like 1953. This was before children learned to look at cameras and smile while having their picture taken. When I look at this image almost 70 years later I like to think that whoever took this shot knew how to stage people and things. My folks look happy, and probably were. My brother and I look interested. I’d also like to think that there’s some truth in this shot.
Mark, I know you call this Mutual of Rosenblatt but you just give, give, give, and you ask nothing in return. But I don’t want to take advantage. I’d like to give something back. It’s not much, but I hope it holds meaning to you. If the situation arises, please know that alternate side of the street parking at your old Snyder Avenue home is Tuesday and Friday 8.30 -11.00 am.
More entertaining than most magazines . Well written, well staged . You own me .
